Our low cost IAS TempGard solution uses local wireless remote radio’s (up to 16) with temperature sensors to monitor air, soil or plant temperature and transmit the data back to the local base station which will sound the visual and audible alarm your temperature set point has been reached. Optionally it can be connected to an internet ready laptop to relay the information to our IAS HarvestWatch software. The IAS HarvestWatch Software graphically represents and logs all the recorded data and will alarm you via an SMS/Text message, an email or a phone call that your set point has been reached and you need to act to protect your crop.
Our cost effective IAS AlertII is a self-contained early warning system helping you protect your valuable crops from spring/fall frost events. It uses the IAS HarvestWatch Software which logs all measured data and is programmed to alert you that your set point has been reached. It will alarm you via an SMS/Text message, and email or a phone call.
The AlertII is a portable wireless, cell based system connected with up to five (5) measuring sensors. It can be used to profile/scout your growing area for the cold spots, dry or wet areas so you learn how to control irrigation in that specific area. It can also be outfitted with additional weather measuring instruments (wind speed) and a dew point sensor which is the best indication a frost event is eminent.
It will log when and who received the messages to give the ability to follow up with your staff. When outfitted with a soil moisture probe it qualifies for USDA-NRCS-EQIP cost share/financial assistance program.
